About the Book
Hidden: two series of masked images of the artist Judith Henry. In Me as Her, black and white photographs, Henry dons masks of well-known dead woman and is portrayed in various environments in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In The Artist is Hiding, Henry creates paintings and masks and is photographed, hidden, in front of each. Her hands, as in Me as Her, are the only identifying mark.
