Magic Window, an exhibition of artwork produced by the little friends who frequent Evans Contemporary, presents a host of inspirational and imaginative visions. Work by these young artists, hung alongside a selection of artwork from the gallery's eclectic contemporary collection, illuminates the inventive psyche enjoyed by creators of all ages. Effortlessly, a box becomes a mouse, a sock is transformed into an extraordinary creature, and multi-coloured fireworks explode in front of our eyes. Soft sculptures, found images, drawings, prints and paintings, provide an overview of the diverse work that flows from the imagination of our little friends, internationally recognized artists, emerging practitioners, and unknown creators.
