A glimpse into a dark dream. In today's society there is so much fear of the unknown and we are taught to be afraid of the world from birth. In my family though I was always taught to be the difference, be brave in the face of an enemy, but also to be the peace and see the good in them as well. So with this project I wanted to convey this ideal. I love contrast and the odd feeling you get when you see something strange, offsetting and yet beautiful. That's what I wanted to capture in my work. I took photos of people and places that make me remember this feeling of odd and calming, like the light at the end of a tunnel. I want the viewer to experience there own light in the darkness and a dream in reality.
