About the Book
This is a nostalgic book about the life of the hop picker children. They were both Londoners and Gypsies. The holiday was a working holiday for the parents and most children. This book is humorous, sad, and a great look into the past. The pictures were drawn by the Authors husband and father. He is no longer with us. Some of the pictures did not get finished and are just sketches but they still show what it was like back then. This book is for Adults and children alike. Although the book is an autobiography, it is also a great family story to tell children.
