‘Remission’ is a project that reflects the states of the griever after someone has passed. The use of time passing is reflected strongly onto the natural world, this being a representation of time during the period of remission.Grief belongs to the unknown; When will the symptoms return? How callous will they be? Who will they effect? Although these symptoms can be wicked and cruel, they can also revive fond memories of loved ones. The outlook on life can be changed dramatically during the stages of grief, the realisation that everyday worries do not seem to matter at all. Instead, they take a step back and view the world’s true beauty in the simplest forms. Although we cannot physically see our loved ones, they will always be instilled in our memories.
