Travelling through the Dampier Peninsula of Western Australia is nothing less than magnificent. You are welcomed by the rich, red earth that leads you to one of Western Australia's hidden yet accessible lagoons where you will find turtle nesting, frolicking whales (from June to September each year) to thousands of blue-footed boobies welcoming you. The sand, sea and the sun plus everything else in between is just spectacular! One of the Naturalists who travelled on the Pelagic boat with Ricky Harris has coined the Lacepedes as Galacepedes, comparing it to the wonders of Galapos Islands. What an amazing claim!
