    About the Book

    Edit

Shadow is a collection of poems composed during a period of intense shadow work - the process of exploring the dark and unconscious aspects of the psyche. It examines fear, shame, anger, hatred, isolation, hopelessness, confusion, society, love and hope.

Presented in chronological order, the collection follows the spontaneous and involuntary process that brought much of the author’s darkness into her conscious awareness. Its raw, insightful and sometimes ferocious content generates more questions than answers, culminating in the realisation that existence is absurd.
