About the Book
Eudaimonia, Jeremy Scott Vinson’s debut collection of poetry, intertwines the Socratic moral ideal of personal happiness and contentment and the poetic voice. Subjects such as grief, masculinity, and abortion resonate on these pages, invoking the reader to wrestle with the emotional truths that resound in the world around us and influence the quality our everyday lives. Through Vinson’s poetry one is situated in the peculiar seat of a Black man who is ever evolving into an unknown, limitless potential.
