This is the first of a four season fine art and documentary photography project exploring the Gowanus Canal, the notorious Brooklyn waterway which has been been designated as a Superfund Site by the Environmental Protection Agency. There are 54 luminous landscape and abstract images included in this dynamic drama which captures the spirit of one of the most contaminated waterways in the US.
