Anita Kunz has been appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada, Canada’s highest civilian honor, by Her Excellency the Right Honorable Michaëlle Jean, the Governor General of Canada, "for her contributions as an illustrator whose insightful works have graced publications around the world" Canadian by birth, she has contributing visually to magazines and design firms, book publishers and advertising agencies worldwide. She has been a regular contributor to Rolling Stone Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker and Time Magazine among many others, and her works have appeared in Galleries and Museums worldwide. She has also taught and lectured extensively.
