Once held tightly in the privacy of a notebook and photo album, Bodies is a journey of self-reflection, growth, and advancement through a personal collection of poetry and 35mm black and white film photos by Marissa Vickers. Written and photographed over the past three years, Bodies explores the relationship between verbal exhibition and visual memory and our ability to embrace the past in order to keep moving forward.
