About the Book
Rhonda Osborne was a true inspiration to all her friends. Having undergone a double lung transplant due to the effects of cystic fibrosis in her mid-20's, she lived a full life for almost 10 more years. She taught us all about contentment, strength, optimism in the face of adversity, and true friendship. This book is a look back at who she was and what made her a friend and inspiration to so many.

I grew up in Brazil, living for a few years in the city of Altamira, deep in the Amazon jungle. Altamira lies on the banks of the Xingu river, one of the main tributaries of the Amazon River. I came back to the United States at the age of 16, completed college, and followed a career in business. I have gone back to Brazil as an adult several times, and assembled a collection of photographs that I am now sharing with friends and family through this new book.
