About the Book
Book 2 of the Tales from the Heroine series.
When encountering an era when the cracks in the foundation of life begin to show, it is sometimes difficult to give into the signs. When discovering that the people we love, the people we want to love, and our health, independence, and well-being begin to deteriorate - all the while being assured it's not true - It is easy to want to believe anything but what is happening. But like all trials of living, with a desperate sense of abandon, it becomes all too clear.
In an Era of Madness: Part 1, there is a step over the threshold between what we what and what is indeed happening around and in us. As deceptions become clear, there comes a time of choosing what we wish to believe and who we want to be. Although our heroine has only yet begun the journey of understanding, the vicious behavior is a thin mask, still there, but no longer opaque.
