Alan R. Ward, aka: karshotz… is a photographic illustrator based in Valencia, PA. He was born in Troy, NY. and grew up in Round Lake, NY. and Shelburne, VT. just outside of Burlington. He spent most of his time building model cars and playing in the woods and streams. Daydreaming of becoming an Automobile Photographer. Moved to Ohio and schooled in Photography by Master Photographer Frank B. Robinson. Later going to NYI of Photography in NYC in 1970 and following his mentors Bert Stern and Lewis Tulchin. Lewis was one of his instructors at NYI. Later following his passion as an Automobile Photographer and doing Illustrations on Canvas and Metal.
