Alyson is a Writer and Community Organizer, curating events and facilitating community & conversation for collective liberation. As a queer, black/mixed-race woman, she explores navigating life at the intersections & in the nuance. Central themes in her work include: Healing the relationship with self through the practices of remembering, becoming, & belonging to ourselves; deconstructing & decolonizing the narratives surrounding how we are in relationship with others; and cultivating a radical imagination to build & shape new worlds in which all are free.
