    About the Ebook

The City of Dubrovnik ( Italian: Ragusa - German: Ragusium ) also known as the "Pearl of the Adria" or "Croatian Athens" in the past. This was probably due to a special political position for centuries, but also because of its cultural significance. The old town is part of the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage since 1979. Dubrovnik was an independent city state for many centuries and established with trade relations with the mediterranean states to southern Europe. During the croatian war the town was heavily besieged and bombed. But the damages have been largely re-fixed and today, Dubrovnik is once again a popular tourist destination.

    The "Pearl of the Adria".

This book is not a guide but an illustrated book that will show you my impressions of this great city, especially the old Ragusa, and for enthusiasts of this city it shall be a beautiful memory.

Die professionelle fotografische Ausbildung erfolgte am New York Institute of Photography.
