Stephen Russell Shilling was born in New Jersey and acquired his training in both fine art and commercial photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He creates self-assigned and commission based photography specializing in fine art, documentary, portraiture, and architectural photography. His fine art photography has been exhibited across the United States in California (LACMA, MOPA, MOCA) and New York (Gallery Ho - Chelsea, Blank Spaces Gallery - LES), as well as at some of the most influential advertising agencies in Los Angeles: Ignited, TBWA\ CHIAT\DAY, Deutsch Inc, Saatchi & Saatchi LA, Team One and Kastler and Partners. Currently he is based out of New Jersey.
