Kano finished building his High House, a tree house tucked away in the bows of an enormous Sitka spruce, just in time. The sky filled with storm clouds. Snow was coming. His Long Night would begin, and in order to become a man of the Raven Clan, Kano would have to spend the winter alone, without help, in his High House perched atop One Tree. If only it would be that easy.
