From Tablet to Book or Magazine: Customers Can Publish Photos Directly from New Samsung Tablets

Las Vegas, NV — January 06, 2014 — Consumer Electronics Show (CES); Blurb, self-publishing platform provider, today announced an additional integration with Samsung Electronics to power professional quality book and magazine creation for the free downloadable Story Album app in Samsung’s newly announced Galaxy Tablets - Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO (8.4, 10.1, 12.2). Last year, Blurb and Samsung announced its partnership to provide Blurb’s self-publishing platform through Samsung’s Story Album app, initially offered on the Galaxy S 4.

“This cooperation between Blurb and Samsung highlights both companies’ commitment to creativity and self-expression,” said Heesun Kim, Vice President of Launching Marketing Group, IT & Mobile division at Samsung Electronics. “With large, crystal-clear display with 4 Megapixel, Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO will serve as the best possible mobile platform to bring Blurb user’s digital stories to life.”

Blurb’s platform provides Samsung with the global scale it needs via six print locations on three continents, support for the world’s major currencies and languages, and deep shipping and logistics expertise.

“We’re pleased to extend our successful partnership with Samsung, providing the powerful platform we’ve built and giving customers a way to use their photos to easily create and publish their personal stories into a book or magazine, directly from their new Samsung tablet,” said Eileen Gittins, Blurb CEO and Founder.
